Monfils' Farewell Party At Roland Garros Was Filled With Stars
Gael Monfils will play his last Roland Garros as a professional tennis player after announcing his retirement for this 2026. Therefore, in addition to the tribute he will receive after his last match, the tournament organization has decided to throw a 'party' for him at the Philippe Chatrier in the form of a mixed tournament, where both serves from each court were allowed. The event was attended by top tennis rackets like Novak Djokovic, Jannik Sinner, Alexander Zverev, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Naomi Osaka; his wife, Elina Svitolina, Maria Sakkari, Iva Jovic, and also former tennis players Jo-Wilfred Tsonga and Richard Gasquet. In fact, it was the pair formed by Monfils and Svitolina who won the exhibition.
